![]() ![]() The body panels are straight, the car’s engine bay is extremely tidy and the yellow Optima battery looks new while the cargo area is in very good order and complete with full-size spare tire mounted in a steel wheel and a spare tire cover. Finished in Springtime Yellow, a 1965 color, the car’s paint and trim are in overall great condition with some minor imperfections. The fastback has had the same loving New Mexico owner since 2016. Unlike a lot of Ponies, this example has the up-level 289 V-8 mated to an upgraded five-speed manual transmission, which is the equation for a lot of driving fun.
